It seems like this project is dead. I moved to web-ext and with a simple webpack config, extension development experience is really nice. |

Using Webpack's own TypeScript support -- not using
gulp-typescript. Done by including.tsfiles intogulp.src(), as well as into watching. Not fully tested yet.
