The project has a pretty significant number of build warnings when building with the current version of Swift (some of which are going to become errors in Swift 6). This PR addresses all build warnings; one of which was about a
matmulfunction which would cause an infinite loop if called (just had to add explicit typing to break the infinite loop).The tests still compile and pass.
