typestopackage.json#exports#126 (comment), without this change, types are not properly detected and only happen to work due to a TS bug (package.jsonexportsresolution uses fallback conditions, unlike Node microsoft/TypeScript#50762. see also Surprising (or incorrect) priorities with package.json exports fields? microsoft/TypeScript#46334 that has this same issue)
