One benefit being as jvmti adds new features, they are incorporated here, Really, the best way would be to create a jvmti-sys crate and I would just reference it. I will probably merge this. I have been away from this project for a while, so it will take me a bit to test. Thanks for the PR! |

I did this mostly as an exercise, thought I'd open a PR if you're interested but it's not clear to me that there's actually any benefit (to the contrary, it adds a build dependency). Definitely feel free to reject.
