1 Disk Management
Make sure that you have the BeebEm Emulator installed and .ssd files are associated with it. There should be a small yellow BBC Icon at the filename.
Double click and it should open into BeebEm:

Type into Beeb "*." or "*CAT" without the quotes, to show the catalogue of files on the disk inserted.
If you don't see any file names, make sure you opened the right disk, as disks can be empty.
To open a new disk or two disks, click on File>Load Disk 0/1, and open an .ssd
To create a new .ssd from BeebEm, click on File>Disk Options>New Disk 0/1

Here you can also set the disk to writable by removing the Write Protect 0/1 option. You'll want to do this to save files, or else BBC Micro Save N Load will hang.
The other disk settings I think speak for themselves.
