What type of PR is this?
Description
Currently, all unit tests, linting checks, and type checking in the CI only run for Python 3.9-3.13, since we have dropped support for Python 3.8. However, the
pyproject.tomlas well as the README are outdated and still mention support for Python 3.8.Now, we explicitly drop support for Python 3.8.
