* lisp/wid-edit.el (widget-choose): Test for stringp instead of char-or-string-p, since substitute-command-keys should only apply to choice values that are strings. (Bug#64046, Message emacs-mirror#37)

When trying to use the
mouse-copy.elpackage, on emacs-29 built from source (with./configure --with-pgtk) running under windows 11/wsl2, I get the error:Could not assert ownership over selection: SECONDARYWhen removing this check, everything seems to work fine.
