Typo

  • The proper name should be capitalised (it is "Vitalik Buterin", not "Vitalik buterin")

Redundancies

  • "FOSS open-source contributor survey": FOSS stands for 'Free and open-source software', there is no need to repeat that. Besides, the linked PDF doesn't have that title.
  • "EIP proposal": "Ethereum Improvement Proposal proposal" is kinda redundant.

Other issues

  • Missing commas
  • Wrong character ("well–organized" → "well-organized")
  • Some mistypings
  • Remove trailing whitespace

However, this only works when the centralized server's actions can be easily verified. If the centralized server has any secret state information, or runs difficult calculations, it is a centralized entity that you need trust to use the application, which is exactly what blockchains try to avoid. In a future article I plan to show how to use [zero-knowledge proofs](/zero-knowledge-proofs) to get around this problem.
