Very early draft of a document that can serve as a technical design and implementation plan, see #542
I used AI to draft a few sections based on the impact analysis and notes I had made. It went a bit overboard on the (pseudo-)Haskell code snippets, but I kept it in so to prompt better sections.
There are plenty TODO and FIXME comments that should explain things like ☝️ and other issues.
