(Challenge 0) Badge

During event signup, we got given a really epic badge...

Having a look at it, the holes down the side of it look a little suspicious! If we assume that each row is a single character, then it doesn't take too much to work out that it looks a lot like Morse Code, with the holes representing "dots" and the tiny circles representing "dashes".

Decoding the whole badge gives us HACKTHEMIDLANDSCOMTLCH.

Initially, this looks a little weird, but we can see that if we insert some extra characters we can get the URL hackthemidlands.com/tlch after a little experimentation.

Visiting that URL gives us this page:

Which gives us the flag HTM{wh47_H47H_g0D_Wr0UGh7}.
