This won't work on Raspberry unfortunately. I changed it so it tries to parse /sys first and then falls back on /proc/cpuinfo in #32 |

How about addressing issue 21 with this approach? It uses the "cpu MHz" field in /proc/cpuinfo to get the CPU frequency, which should work across CPU families and models.
