- Install mtail package
- Ensure the service is enabled/running
- Add the mtail program to process quod Apache logs
- Configure mtail under /etc/default
- Publish the exporter to Prometheus
- Allow Prometheus to connect
- Integrate the new target into Prometheus config
- Add the new profile to production quod only for now
