RoR Developer Contract Based in Edmonton

Ruby on Rails Web Application Developers

The Job: We're looking for Ruby on Rails developers to help accelerate the launch of a product. The core code-base for the project is in place, and we're quickly moving through iterations on features and could use additional sets of hands to move the work forward.

We are strongly Agile, and are using BDD using cucumber, TDD using Rspec, and regularly practice pair-programming. Familiarity with this style of development is a plus.

The Team: We're a small passionate team based in Edmonton, and consequently need someone who can work independently without being micromanaged. Full-time developers must be located in Edmonton. Contract positions would be primarily remotely based, but occasional meetings in Edmonton might be required. A fully remote developer may be considered, but is not preferable.

Compensation: Negotiable

Requirements: We are looking for intermediate or entry level developers, preferably with a background in Ruby and RoR development. Your ability to be able to quickly onboard to a project built using standard RoR design is a must. Experience with CSS, Javascript, and HTML5 are a plus.

Terms of Employment:
For an intermediate developer, we are looking for both contract (1 or 2 month) as well as full-time developers.
For an entry-level developer, we are looking to fill a full-time position.
