On the computer used to connect from outside, set up the VPN to UM2
Make sure openssh-server installed.
then, in terminal from remote computer:
ssh -X [email protected]
then for the first connection accept and id and password from UM2 email messager
gnome-terminal & # opens a new terminal
then firefox & or gedit file
From Windows 7 and 8 it is quite easy to configure your VPN access. Open the Network center and add a Network connection via the wizard. The name of the server is
vpnum2.univ-montp2.fr
The user name is the prefix of your e-mail adress and your e-mail password.
